Who are the Hoosiers? 
 
Well, if you listen to this podcast, you’re gonna find out who the Hoosiers were.
 
The Hoosiers were a basketball team, but they were more than a team.

Heat - Ep. 43

Heat... because there is no other way.
Got it?
I'm kidding. I was coming in 'hot' so to speak.
So, in the late 1600's when the Earth was discovered and then settled- moviemaking began.  It was tedious at first and many lost their lives and later some lost their lunch. 
But... it was on one of those tumultuous evenings after several fatal pratfalls and lethal plot devices, casting was discovered.
Soon re-casting became the main game in town.
Well, one of them. 
Then what seemed like eons but was actually about 15 minutes later
the first podcast was invented. Long before radio, TV or even fire was discovered.
Today's modern world may laugh surreptitously  at a world without podcasts or Pokémon.  
And ponder at what exactly the word surreptitiously means. 
And to this day, no one really knows.
And then one day...
Re-casting just happened.
And God said "Yes"
Leigh and Kriss talk a lot this week.
And at some point, during all the talking, as if by magic,  their re-casting of the movie Heat is discussed.
Only a very select few have the rare talent or gift to do what these 
two guys can do.
Michael Mann directed it.
Al Pacino and Robert De Niro acted in it.
Chrisp and Leek re-casted it.
This movie is about two gun crazy fools. Both are from opposite sides of the law but very much in love with, guns, hanging out with groups of guys that get killed and ultimately they fall in love with each other AND their very different powerhouse styles of American acting.
Life is a mystery.

Sneakers - Ep. 42

It's that time again.
That time of year.
When we all can stop and think, smell the flowers or just plain stop.
Don't you feel better?
Good.
Before the internet craze; there was a movie that inspired cybercrime before today's world of fear based and impulse buying of crapola at the mere tap of a smart device button..
And no, that movie was not UHF. 
It was Sneakers. This movie stars Robert Redford, Dan Akyroyd, Sidney Potier, plus other BIG NAMES. 
Phil Alden Robinson directed it.
Based on that, Cee and Lhris chose it to recast. 
They literally spent minutes to decide on which movie to recast for your listening enjoyment.
So gather 'round and listen up to a movie get recasted that is not about shoes. We sure were surprised to find that outl 
And obviously relieved, of course.

Quick Spoiler Alert:  So this is what happens.
Wayward Extraterrestrials play hide and seek with the military, scientists and electricians and other bumpkins in the midwest. These out-of-towers kidnap kids and sunburn other people's faces and drive 'em all plum loco. These Aliens dig partying in their fancy pants spaceships that are all blinged out and Rooty toot toot!!
 They do this in the 'Hellzapoppin' Tradition'.
In the end, they end up taking with them an unemployed deadbeat dad who will probably wind up whippin' their flimsy skinny asses in the end.
But the movie cuts off before we even see that intergalactic smackdown. Which would have been great. Whatever....
Richard basically says goodbye to his girl in this semi-sequel to the Goodbye Girl. Bam! Oh no he di-ent!
This movie stars Richard Dreyfuss, Melinda Dillon, Teri Garr and a bunch of other people. And Bob Balaban who you know  from other comedies such as: Midnight Cowboy and Stienfeld.  And a famous French UFO/UAP dude.

Napoleon Dynamite - Ep.38

Never have two simple words ever been used together to make a movie that is made up of both one word and another combined together to make a movie title.
For those keen cinema aficionados, right away you realized that it probably HAS been done before...
Congratulations!

Napoleon Dynamite is not a movie about history or explosives.  
Depending on your etheric plane; I suppose it could.
But enough with the big words and tough talk; this comedy classic gets recast by two guys Chris and Lee. One of whom knows basically what he's doing.  
It stars Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, Jon Gries and lot of other funny folks. It is well cast and we undo that hard work to give it a more current 'now' or 'pop' feel. And really we're just try to make it gooder.

Armed and Dangerous - Ep.37

When in the course of events, especially the special events. Like limited special offers or while supplies last; types of events.
I left out human events. Or other species as well. No one should be left out of this. Even non-living things like rocks or clouds. Or leaves. If they're dead, of course and like, bones of dead people. Because I've already included bones still inside people that are alive because that counts as living. Right?
So, basically all things living or non-living should pay attention here...
I just thought of anti-matter.
Anything that is anti-matter this event will be also significant to all anti-matter. 
Instead of 'event' let's go with big deal.
When in the course of big deals, there comes a podcast so courageous, so captivating, so senses shattering, so over the top and will make you want to take a big dump. It is a big deal.
